We want to clarify some recent allegations regarding Threads hiding posts containing "pixelfed"
Several users pointed out they were unable to reproduce this, leading us to believe it was a glitch.
We're happy to see Threads open up federation, and look forward to working together to build a better fediverse.
P.S - We know threads federation isn't for everyone
If your Pixelfed server hasn't blocked threads, you can use a domain block to block them yourself by going to the Settings -> Privacy and Domain Blocks page!
@pixelfed The #Fediverse will get better with Threads? I have my big doubts. Is there a valid argument for this? Or do you mean only the size - "big" dosen't mean "good".

@pixelfed I have said this elsewhere - the issues I have seen is because a lot of activitypub instances are already blocking threads. This causes lots of things to be a bit strange in the matrix!
